Re: USA Today Coach's PollMore votes than 3 time national champions FSU.
Re: USA Today Coach's PollAnd less votes than 5 of our conference mates…
Re: USA Today Coach's PollWe will have to prove it several years before people take us serious in preseason polls.
We are 7 years removed from being the worst team in CFB (whether we beat UConn or not, we were the worst team in CFB in 2014)
Re: USA Today Coach's Poll
I think it may be 9 if you count our future conference mates after the B12 finishes it's collapse.
Re: USA Today Coach's PollNo votes in the AP poll.
Cincinnati #8, Houston and Central Florida receiving votes. https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-football-poll Shake It Off Moody
Re: USA Today Coach's PollYeah the AP poll has forever felt comprised by voters that barely watch the games.
Of course I’m partial and highly informed about SMU football, but Houston getting votes in the AP over us just seems uninformed. Sure they have most of their starters coming back…from a team that went 3-5 last year. But no one ever received a bowl invite or glory from preseason rankings.
Re: USA Today Coach's PollAnd we got more votes than Arkansas.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: USA Today Coach's PollBased on the list of voters, suspect that the coaches from La Tech, UCF, Tulsa and Tulane may have all voted for us. (I am assuming that Sonny can't vote for his own team). We all know Gary P didn't vote for us because he is done helping us out. Would think we would have two more votes with Cincy and UNT - but am sure they will be on board once we pile drive Abilene Christian...
