AAC's note about SMU's win:
SMU improved to 4-0 and won its 12th consecutive regular-season nonconference game as the Mustangs scored a 42-34 victory against TCU in the 100th battle for the Iron Skillet in Fort Worth. QB Tanner Mordecai threw four touchdown passes, giving him an incredible 20 TDs in four games, and RB Ulysses Bentley IV and RB Tre Siggers both topped 100 yards to pace an SMU offense that gained 595 yards, including 350 rushing yards.
