After the game a TCU Asst Coach very hotly confronted SMU Coach Dykes and you can see it at the end of the game on highlights on YouTube.
What was that all about ?
ANSWER - TCU has an Asst Coach who was the former Head Coach at Minnesota (not the guy who confronted Dykes). He is an advisor to the Head Coach. He is a really nice man who has had some horrendous family issues and some really rough medical issues besides. He had to quit being a Head Coach because he has epilepsy and he has had it all his life. He collapsed on the sideline three times as a Head Coach and then had to quit being a Head Coach as a result. He has had brain surgery and his head and skull area is very vulnerable as you might imagine. Its really a miracle that he is still walking around and he still has brain issues today.
After the game an SMY player struck him in the head with a helmet. You can deny it all day long but it happened. Coaches on both sides are trying to review film to see who it was who did it. That Coach took a blow to the head that knocked him to the ground and he stayed down for quite a while.
Downplay it all you want but the Coach was hit from behind right in the head. Couldn't have picked a worse guy to do it too. He already has brain damage as it is. Really really bad incident and the TCU Asst Coach who saw it was enraged and confronted Dykes. I am pretty sure Dykes will do something about it. No place for that in any sport and he could have killed that Coach. We will see how that plays out. Pretty disgusting. The Coach is still in the hospital being observed. Don't know when he will be released.
Now.......lets hear all the denials.

at least Sonny will do something. that is a lot more than gp did regarding the helmet incident at a previous SMU game. P.S. not even the 'homecooking' refs could save the ineptitude of the little froggies Sat.

https://twitter.com/zach_barnett - watch the video in the third tweet down from the top. TCU player bumped into the TCU coach with no helmet involved.

https://twitter.com/zach_barnett/status ... 1974240259This angle of SMU-TCU postgame clearly shows a Frog unintentionally knocking Jerry Kill to the ground.
Unfortunate incident all around, hope Kill is okay, expect air to be cleared tomorrow.
Defense, defense !
Clap, clap... clapclap

Everyone on both sides hopes Coach K is OK.
Froggy High is about to play a Texas team that just put up 70 points, and you're still crying about the mean ol' SMU fans?
Tell us again about how SMU doesn't matter ... we'll wait.

How is this still being debated? Footage clearly shows coach Kill accidentally shoved by TCU players. Barring any other evidence, this little tantrum case opened by Gary is closed.

Again folks, don't let the facts get in the way of a good narrative...

So hard to believe that Patterson would try and divert attention elsewhere after losing a big game (especially against SMU...
Ill be sure those refs never work a game in Amon Carter again...
That's the last time we will be helping out SMU...
DIVERT
DIVERT
DIVERT....

Spreading misinformation in spite of video evidence to the contrary. Imagine that! It looked like a very loving, peaceful post game gathering to me!

This is complete horse**** and the footage proves it’s 100% false. Patterson made this up out of thin air and should be publicly reprimanded for this kind of garage. How embarrassing for TCU

I heard* all the Big 12 ADs had a meeting and were so embarrassed about TCU spreading lies that they plan on sanctioning them. Maybe even kicking them out.
