USF outscored BYU 21-7 in the second half. If we come out flat this would be a humiliating loss.

It would be an extremely horrific loss. It would be the kind of loss that TCU would end future series with us. From what I saw last night, USF was finally getting a rhythm on a very overrated team. I think BYU will get tripped up by at least two conference teams.
I think USF has pretty horrific defense so I fully expect us to get a ton of points but the score won't be as pretty as it should be.

USF hanging with BYU helps the coaches, but I'm with you being concerned. A loss to USF would undo a lot of the positive gained by running through TCU on national TV.

I agree, this could be a trap game. We need to come in with all cylinders clicking.

Sports Illustrated has our spread -20+
The Bulls have been underdogs by 20.5 points or more two times this year and have covered the spread every time.

WP, this is SMU...we do what we do.
My only hope is that they don't start they're back up QB.
We win by 11.

We’ve played to the level of opponent every week it feels thus far. Just come to play our game and we’ll be fine. But they’re definitely not to be overlooked.

Hope this turns out to be a game where our guys come out strong early and some of the younger guys can get some 4th quarter reps

If Mustangs are flat, and bulls are fired up this could get scary.

Won't happen. See 2019 (post-TCU destruction of USF in Tampa). Glad it's Homecoming to boost the crowd.

Humiliating losses - an SMU specialty.

How about North Texas 46-23? That is top tier humiliation. Then there is the 52-28 embarrassment at the hands of some Florida four year junior college. And the 52-38 ECU ignominy. Although I shouldn't, I'm giving him a break on the odious La Tech performance. When SMU takes the field, shameful disgrace is always in play.

Frisco wasn’t on Him. He merely stood on the sidelines and watched that humiliation.

Beat TCU twice back to back, top 25 14 weeks in last 2.5 years. I don't care about pre-2019, it's in the past this is now and the future.
Also, 5 star Preston and current recruiting class has 5/4*.
I remember when we were thrilled to get 3*s and diamond in the ruff recruits.
I'm not afraid to admit it, I originally thought hiring a failed P5 coach was a mistake and boy was that f-ing stupid. So thankful that those who knew made the decision and not reactionary members.
