Perhaps part of the "Miami Model" Stallion used to talk about is being brash and public. Talking smack about the other team in social media before the game. Attempting to plant a flag.

Why not make SMU "THE U" of Metro Dallas. Miami never drew much more than 35k for random opponents, even when they were competing for national championships. Schools have a lot of similarities.
