TCU dropped completely out of the "others" category, we moved up. Apparently voters were not surprised we beat TCU.

We need some help form other schools, as we will likely not face a ranked team until Cincinnati in November.

This certainly is much better than SMU being #57 in the cbssports rankings. Hopefully, we'll break the top 25 soon.

Rooting for LaTech against #24 NC State on Saturday.

As painful as it will be, we need to get our pseudo TCU jerseys and LA Tech ones as well on. Hopefully we beat good teams and didn't catch teams on a bad year.

La Tech is easy to root for. I like what they’re about.

#24 Wake Forest's 4-0 and #21 Baylor's 4-0 are over about as an impressive set of opponents as ours.

Wake's three opponents have a combined record of 5-11 with wins primarily against second division schools. Voters unfortunately just see ACC team with 4-0 record.

We should also be rooting for UNT to win some games too.

Literally EVERY team in the top 25 this weekend needs to be concerned about losing.

(3-1) Louisville at #24 Wake Forest

La Tech at #23 NC State
#18 Fresno State at Hawaii (UH is decent)
Texas at TCU (some still have UT ranked)
Hell, WKU almost beat Indiana last week and they go to #17 Michigan State and (2-1) ULM goes to Coastal Carolina - THOSE are trap games, too.

I mean seriously - over half the teams ahead of us could be beaten this weekend. If we manage to slap USF (or at least win) we are in a prime position to take advantage.

Updated rankings shows SMU at # 27, up 30 spots after beating TCU who dropped 15 spots to # 43. Note they have SMU ranked higher than Clemson!

Of course that game is in Raleigh at Carter-Finley Stadium and I'm pretty sure La Tech gets no return trip from the Wolfpack. Like Sonny said "no P5 team has been willing to play in Ruston and I know because I used to coach there". Clemson couldn't win there. Let's hope La Tech can!

REALLY pulling for LA Tech.

Still struggling with the TCU-TX game. I think I want TCU to win that one because TX is my 2nd most hated team outside of UH.

We don't deserve it when we had slow starts with ACU and UNT at home no less and almost losing about as close to losing gets to LA Tech.

TCU was our first real win. We have to keep the momentum going and keep stacking the Ws.
