Posted: Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:41 amIt seems like every time I go to a Mustang game it rains. Hopefully, its not close to the monsoon I endured at the Navy game a few years back. Pouring rain with gusts of 40 mph.

Not so fond memories of JJ's debut at SMU. I don't think Navy threw a single pass that day but I do remember the whitewater cascading down through the stands.

Posted: Tue Sep 28, 2021 3:48 pmWhile I think USF run defense is putrid, we are better when we have both on the table. USF is better on the run so I guess the rain will help our defense stack the box and contain McClain.

I don’t know anything about USF’s defense, but TCU was running a scheme that emphasized pass coverage.

The good thing looking at the stats is our rushing defense is superior to our pass defense. Our defense only gives up 135 yard on rushing offense whereas USF is like 225. Rain or shine our team should be able to win and hopefully big like they did in 2019.
