We saw what a motivated, healthy Tulane team can do against Oklahoma. They have had up to 9 starters out in the last several weeks, most if not all, will be back for our game. Tulane has had an open date as well, not to mention, it always comes down to the final play with these guys. Have at it!

This is the game for Mordecai to dump the ball to the running back (something he seemed to miss in the Navy game), take off and run or Siggers and Lavine to have some long, good runs if they are going to drop 8. Get some sustained drives for TDs. If Bentley is healthy, then all bets are off. Keep their offense off the field. Improvement in the Oline run blocking and Pass defense would help.

This one is tough because who are we going to get: Tulane that almost beat OU or the one where the got hammered by ECU and Houston. Fortunately those are the two recent games but hoping our guys arent sleep walking. Need the win to go into Houston 7-0.

Don't sleep on this game/team. I'm sure our team isn't. We SHOULD win by at least 14, but who knows. Just win and come out healthy.

Which Tulane team shows up? The one that scared OU or the one that was whipped by ECU & Houston? I'd like to think SMU, coming off a little extra rest wins this one by 2 scores 41-27

Biggest question - this weekend and going forward- is Mordecai's ball handling.

Improved release time, throwing it away under pressure instead of forcing it or taking the hit: we win 49-21 with Tulane getting a late TD. No reason our D can't handle them soundly.

Typical Mordecai mistakes? 35-21.

Love it man. I'm playing it conservatively because I thought our offense was going to be more prolific and sadly they're only playing 2 quarters it feels like.

Agreed that if we continue to play only 2 quarters we face 3 losses, maybe 4.
