Moves around a lot.
SMU would be another stepping stone like with Chad?
Hasn't he been mostly "so so" at a lot of places?

No. He had 1 great year at Rice, and has never stayed committed to any program.

If Sonny leaves I hope they bring in a high energy younger guy to keep the momentum going. If SMU is going to be a stepping stone job, so be it. Just be sure to get nice buyout clauses and keep bringing in younger up and comers.
Having said that, it would be nice to see Sonny on the Hilltop long enough for SMU to put him into their Hall of Fame

While not the one who was mentioned above - I would take Mike Leach and his nuttiness any day of the week - maybe he doesn't love Starkville! I would also take Gary Patterson and his nuttiness.

IMO a lot better options than rolo. I'm not against GP or even Mike Leach. I suspect if we hired GP we would have great games against tc-who.
