Well Mustang fans, here we are...in the dreaded and feared month of November. 10 days ago, SMU fans were livin' large in Mustang land, undefeated and nationally ranked, now we are facing familiar territory. UCF is 6-3 and just like Memphis, rumors are swirling...they may get their starting QB back for us. Either way, our biggest problems are in the mirror... the enemies within. IF...and I repeat IF... the SMU team that shows up this Saturday before the Sonny drama started... and plays with the swagger, focus, spirit and confidence that we saw against TCU and others, we will win...if not...the November Swoon will continue. Have at it!

We aren't good enough to play poorly and beat decent teams.
We are at home, so I think we win 38-31.

OMG. We are soooo unlucky. UCF QB has "game of his life" for some reason. Throws for 500 yards. UCF converts 5, 4th and 7+ yards plays with our CBs playing 20 yards off the line of scrimmage. 4 times in the redzone we call 12 dive plays from the shotgun with the UCF defense having 9 players in the box and somehow fail to score.
