Opinion piece in USA Today:

"To understand the new reality of how college football coaching hires work, there’s no better place to start than Texas Tech."

Sonny is mentioned as likely to go to Fort Worth. Ouch. But, the sentiment is Offense Gurus are not ideal Head Coaches with a few exceptions like Lincoln Riley.

Fastest way to a guaranteed loss on Saturday is to continue to let bs like this drive the narrative for these kids.

The most important trend is the one they won't talk about - that the Big 12 isn't seen as a step up into a P5 conference anymore. Texas Tech ended up with the 8th coach on their wishlist and the same will be for TCU.
