Didn't we almost hire that guy at one point?

IIRC we tried to hire him when he was coaching at Colo.

Cincinnati will be in deep trouble is Jerome Ford is still hurt.
God forbid there's ever any injury data released lol. If Bentley is healthy for us and Jerome Ford is still crippled then we have a great chance.

I would almost prefer that their QB Ridder was out instead of this player.

Never going to pull against the Ponies ... but I sure would love to force the committee to AGAIN not put in an undefeated highly ranked G5 program. I think this time around, unlike with UCF, they might feel the pressure to relent .. IDK. Probably wishful thinking. If the past few years of out of conference games and bowl match-ups has showed us anything, it has showed that there is more parity today. The "on any given day" is alive and well.
But, never against the Ponies.

Cincinnati would need to beat SMU, ECU & Houston convincingly and would probably still need the teams ahead of them in the playoff standings to lose more games. Only way they get in is for the committee to have to decide whether to let them in as an undefeated team or to let 2 loss P5 teams in ahead of them. Good chance that one loss P5 champions from SEC, Big 10 & PAC 12 will be rated higher than Cincinnati. Bearcats also need Notre Dame to have blowout wins vs Ga Tech & Stanford so their loss in South Bend to Cincy is their only loss this year.
Still want our Mustangs to ruin their season Saturday.

By keeping Michigan over Michigan State (who beat Michigan) the table is set for ND to leapfrog Cincinnati if they perform well. The chair of the committee said taking the head to head out of the equation, that statistics help determine the standings.
