Lashlee would be consistent with SMU's approach, i.e., hire someone who has aspired to be a HC at D-I FBS and of course if he has success will eventually get a shot at big boy football. Have to believe Sonny made up his mind when the top 3 teams from the AAC were invited to the Big XII leaving SMU behind. If the Big XII does expand, it will be Boise and Memphis, further watering down the AAC but that is where we are going to compete and maybe Lashlee can be successful at that level
