Roll back the clocks not more than 5 weeks ago and who among us was anything other than extremely grateful to have Coach Dykes as our coach, and for all the things he had done to date to build the program?

To have other schools pursue new coaches DURING the season is amazing, and not Coach Dykes's fault.

Until SMU gets into a Power 5 conference, I can't imagine we will be able to keep a coach beyond a few years of solid success before they seek Power 5 pastures. Since we've been on an overall upward trajectory for several years now, here's hoping our time in the P5 will come before long.

Now, if Dykes and/or his assistants actively orchestrated the decommitments from recruits over the past few days, the gloves come totally off. But, aside from that, I'm grateful for the work Sonny put in while at SMU.

Onward and upward. Let's keep the overall trajectory of the program upward.

Remember before the Houston game, when Sonny was asked about the TCU rumors, he said he doesn't know where this stuff comes from. He knew he was lying then.

Of course they orchestrated it! The recruits definitely didn’t get any news from this board. Not a coincidence. Tired of having to accept this bs.
