I really hope that happens. At least he'd be going to a superior program, out of state, more of our coaches would probably stay, and more of our recruits might stay and at least they wouldn't flip to TCU.

I like Sonny and appreciate what he did in his short stint at SMU ... recruiting ALLEGATIONS aside (that is all they are right now). OU is above SD's pay grade right now. No way OU is considering him, his resume' does not even warrant a discussion right now. Three-Four great years at TCU maybe. I know USC has the $$ and the desire to become relevant again. But I am surprised Lincoln is headed west, he owns the state of Oklahoma. Unless he thinks the SEC is going to be a bigger hurdle then others do. I wonder if he takes little Lincoln with him. Graham Harrell is the OC their now ... good coach and a class act. Could the Cowboys OC being in play for OU, similar minds and temperament.

Someone at TCU leaked this to Mac to try to create some sort of perception that Dykes is a coveted head coach and the Frog faithful should be excited about their new leader who just lost 4 of his last 5 in an inferior conference.

Completely ridiculous to think OU would entertain someone with Sonny's resume. Kellen Moore perhaps or why not pursue Jason Garrett if you are going the NFL route. This is OU we are talking about and as they prepare to go into the SEC and a higher level of competition, I expect them to aim really high for Riley's replacement
