Can't agree on that one...not by a long shot.
I'll take Lee Fedora (yep, brother was Larry) any day on the high school level over Briles. Not to mention the leadership and integrity variable...
For that matter, Jeff Traylor trumps Briles as well...from the rebuild at Gilmer High School to his time at SMU helping Xavier Jones and other running backs learn their craft. He is going to continue to be an innovative coach at UTSA.
Now to that integrity thing...well, Briles has never bothered to address fully his lack of leadership in that whole mess at Baylor. There are still 4 unsettled cases against the university, and so perhaps there is a legal precedent or an agreement with BU that precludes any disclosure. His producing damning documents in 2018-9 (that BU failed to produce) does not absolve his failure to address the harm to the women that were abused.
He has daughters...he has no integrity. And there ARE better coaches and people than Art Briles in Texas football today.
