You have to feel that Evans is going to back out and that is why they needed another back. Makes no sense for Bentley to transfer there where he will be in a backup role. Something is going on.

It is quite obvious this was already a done deal before he entered the portal. Ole Miss is going to lose Evans and now they were able to entice Bentley through the back channels. I bet they casted a wide net and Bentley was the biggest fish they caught.

Alternatively, they lost all their backs, they aren't going to run a power running scheme, they want playmakers at RB, and both Bentley and Evans are at their best with 15-20 touches per game.

I doubt this had anything to do with NIL, because they are spending a ton on Evans. I bet they reached out initially before they got a commitment from Evans once they saw Dykes leave, the door was still open, and after a week of learning the new scheme and being pushed, he bolted.

All good points, if true, he must have really not been comfortable with Lashlee and his offensive scheme. It seems like a large risk to go to Ole Miss if Evans is indeed staying.

It's an odd transfer in that he knew Lashlee as he played for him in 2019.

As quick as this happened, its very difficult for me to believe that Ole Miss was not in the conversation well before he entered the portal.

Is tampering against the NCA** aHole rules or not :?: :?: :?:

Oh well I guess Sunning Snaykes didn't have much to do with it.
