The SMU receiver-turned-safety announced on his Twitter account Thursday morning that he is entering the transfer portal.

"First I want to thank smu and everyone in the program ... I will be entering my name in the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility left, after talking with the coaches I felt it was best that I find a program that is the best fit for me and to continue chasing my dream."

If this is about playing time, I see he was recruited by UNT, Arky State, Tulane and S.F. Austin coming out of H.S. if he wants to stay close to home. As always, I hope guys who transfer out find someplace they can be happy and look back at their college experiences as good ones.
