Posted: Wed Jul 06, 2022 7:17 amI remember that season and the situation well. SMU was also trying to get in the Orange and Sugar Bowls. In 1983, overtime wasn't available, we lost to Texas because of a failed 2 point try. Lance got sacked for a safety in the last few seconds.
