Any guesses on Special Announcement? I'm guessing they have secured the rest of the funding for the South end zone. This is based on absolutely ZERO insider info, just a wild guess.

Big 12 invite?

Bwahahaha...

wagering that NIL info, AND stadium upgrades.

That, per my understanding, is contingent on a P5 invite. I highly doubt that’s the impetus for all of this. Still, good time to be a Mustang.

I’m more optimistic than you….

1) I don’t see the B10 poaching anymore schools anytime soon
2) I think it’s imperative the PAC expands, at least by 2 schools
3) Outside of SD St, i see SMU as the next best alternative

Your points are valid and I agree but I don't think the pep rally relates to it.

PAC will only expand if both are true a) their members are onboard b) their TV partner agrees with it.

It’s the absence of ESPN from the B1G deal that makes me fear the B1G and its new media partners might really try to decapitate the rest of the PAC. But who knows. That should also incent ESPN to keep the PAC viable, and sign up with them.

Meanwhile, the Big XII commish is out with his megaphone again yelling about how they might go shopping “out west.” No one believes him anymore.

lol theyre not announcing a conference move at a "fry the frogs pep rally."

If this was a done deal, it would have leaked already.

The UT/OU deal didn't leak, because there were a ton of NDAs involved. USC/UCLA as well. There won't be leaks. But this event won't be any type of announcement around conferences.

‘11 are correct, I misunderstood you.

I think our chances of PAC membership are around 50%*
I think our chances of hearing it at a pep rally virtually 0%.
