SMU defensive end/linebacker has announced on social media that after two recent shoulder surgeries and an upcoming hip surgery, he is retiring from football.

He obviously had a great work ethic, worked hard and became a much better college football player than most people expected when he came out of H.S. I'm sure he will be successful at whatever he chooses to do with his life

When I was out with a medical I was able to stay with the team as a student asst coach. I would assume if he wants to be a part of the team he still can be.
