Sellout or very close to it but you won't be able to tell on TV because so many seats on the east side will have been vacated by students preferring to watch or socialize in the south end zone

Worst possible game time for the soft SMU crowd, with temp rising and no shade. Expect a TON of purple throughout the stadium, including several on the home side as season ticket holders ditch their seats for other Sat morning activities and cash. Students will be there in force until halftime. I would LOVE to be wrong.

My theory is it's close to purple and will be harder to differentiate the fans.

Blue is our home color. If the team changes to Red then we should wear red, but as long as blue is the home color do not change because you fear that purple is close to blue.

First let me say I love BIGHORSE. He is one of my favorite fans, and best supporters. But I will always disagree with him when it comes to changing our home colors from BBC what the team wears so we do not possibly blend with the opposition. It is their job to wear contrast if it is done.

Looks like less than 400 tickets, available in the secondary markets. If you go to the ticket office, they still had a few in 126, scalpers scooped up a bunch in that section.
