Concessions update

From SMU athletics (Oct. 19) via social media:
"To address concessions issues, our partner Aramark will be dramatically increasing staffing moving forward based on each game's attendance. For this weekend's game, they will more than double the staff they had at least week's game. They will also station a manager in each stand who can handle any issues that arise. They will be increasing stock as well to avoid running out of items during the game. We trust that this will improve service and wait times for our fans."

Sad, it took 20 plus years to pay attention to a detail.
Another detail, what Mustang in right mind would make boulevard parking passes ut orange???
Thank you

BUS that always bugs me too. How stupid to have anything associated with Texas appear on our campus! Who ARE these stupid people?

As we grow in life we learn that some do not.
Maybe with a second set of eyes the truth can be seen.
Smu production, planning, execution is div. II.

They are people who are clueless or don’t give a hoot.
Either way, they shouldn’t be employed by SMU.

At the Navy game, no one scanned our parking pass at all for the Binkley garage.
The school keeps blaming their vendor, Aramark, instead of accepting and taking responsibility. How about SMU staff walking the corridors making sure things are going smoothly?

There's no accountability at any level. By that I mean if something goes poorly, no one is getting yelled at or talked to sternly at any level anywhere. Even if you don't believe in that method of management, there is also no threat of changing vendors, terminating contracts, etc.

You'd hope that one positive from the MBA-ization of the athletic department would be competent vendor management. Instead, it seems they just nod at whatever spreadsheet the account rep points to in telling a story other than 'we're cheap, and you're stuck with us.'
There were good reasons to move beyond the era where athletic departments were led and staffed mainly by ex-coaches, but there's also something to be said for having leaders who just tell them to fix it or else.
