Lashlee didn't know for sure about next week to Rich Phillips, but was fairly certain it wasn't season
ending during the post game interview.

Did stone only go in because Tanner got hurt? Or was Tanner benched?

TM has been hurt for a while...yesterday was a "top-off" injury that made it necessary to sit him down.
He hasn't been right since the Maryland game.

I assume he went into concussion protocol after having his head slammed onto the turf.

Rhett Lashlee talked about it in his interview. He said he didn't have an official diagnosis, but thinks Mordecai suffered a concussion.

Also, peruna81 is right that Mordecai has absorbed some serious hits this year. Was it the TCU game when he took that serious shot to the ribs, and came back after a single play?

Our offensive lineman should be busy writing apology letters today.

And when they protect him perfectly and he over throws a pass, should he get busy writing them apology letters?

Possibly, but they don't get busted ribs and a concussion protocol like Tanner.

Tanner’s been a good QB for us, but the realty is he’s 4-8 over the past 12 games, we could use the mobility Preston provides + Preston is simply our future.

I really like the idea of PS starting & finishing a game for us, then even more so, a rivalry game the following week.

It would be dangerous to say that to an offensive lineman.

You must have a someone playing on the O-line or you haven't watched all of our games. I don't think our opponents defenders, would consider our 0-linemen "dangerous".... We can only dream and hope that comes one day or season.

Watching the sidelines, Saturday was the first time I have ever seen RL really pissed at Tanner when he missed a pass and took an unnecessary sack on his last series. At the game, I thought it was for performance, only learned about the injury afterwards.

Before he got his bell rung, I wonder how badly Mordecai's ribs are still bothering him. Those can be extremely painful, and in some cases can linger for a long time.
Beat Tulsa.
