219 is pretty light for D-line. I would have tried him at WR or a DB with that height. I hope is finds the right path for his life.

Kelvin Beachum started as a freshman tackle at 239 pounds. He's now listed at 308 and in his 11th NFL season.

With so many players in the portal, I wonder where guys like this may end up. True freshman without any college tape. Colleges have tons of options now between a loaded portal and high school. Guys like him could end up with nowhere to go, other than maybe FCS.
Are some FCS teams just loading up on D1 transfers without a home?
