Yes, Knighton and Johnson have looked very good, and the defense looks better — partly because the returning players have a year in Symons' system, and partly because of the influx of talent: LB Ahmad Walker and CB Chris Megginson played in the system at Liberty, the new defensive linemen from Miami (Miller and Roberts) are really big and active, Alex Kilgore does not look like a freshman, S Jonathan McGill already seems like a coach on the field, Massey is healthy, etc.
