Eleven Mustangs Selected To East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 List
DALLAS (SMU)- Eleven members of the SMU football team were selected to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 list, which consists of the best 1,000 players throughout all of college football who are currently all-star game eligible for the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl and the 2024 NFL Draft Class.
Six Mustangs were selected as offensive players: running back Jaylan Knighton, wide receivers Jordan Kerley and Moochie Dixon, offensive linemen Marcus Bryant, Hyrin White and Justin Osborne.
The Mustangs' five defensive selections include defensive tackles Elijah Chatman and DeVere Levelston, safety Chris Adimora, cornerback Brandon Crossley, and cornerback Charles Woods.
The preseason honors continue to roll in for SMU as a handful have already earned preseason recognition by Phil Steele, Athlon Sports, and Dave Campbell's Texas Football.
