Others are saying that ASU, AU, UU are going to the Big XII. That leaves, OSU, WSU, Stanford, Cal all alone on an island. This then creates the usual political issues such as will the Washington and Oregon legislatures let their marquee teams go the the Big Ten leaving their little brothers behind.
Many have looked at the Apple deal and find it probably poison given the cost and subscription requirements with no cable access.
