Sources: With the Pac-12 president meeting at the top of the hour, there's optimism about the league’s grant of rights being signed. The key linchpin is Oregon. Heading into the meeting, the school is trending toward not going to the Big Ten.

Makes sense. Why would Apple spend all the time and money
to lowball the PAC? favorable counteroffer appears likely.

latest reports are that Oregon and Wash. will not sign GOR. waiting on offer from B1G. More mystery and suspense. Said that Oregon was bigger cut of the pie.

If Apple is serious about getting into the CFB business they need to "pony up."

Someone refresh my memory. What was the original purpose of college athletics and conferences? Pretty sure it wasn't to create a funding source for the universities. Oh well...the almighty dollars and greed win.

Lookout, high schools are the next targets.
