"CFP meeting just broke … as expected, no major decisions made on any possible format changes, revenue distribution or TV - especially as the realignment waiting game continues."
"Regarding realignment, CFP Exec. Dir. Bill Hancock said “we're going to have to wait and see, we're gonna have to wait till the dust settles before making any decisions about how that might affect CFP.” He said “it would be premature” repeatedly in response to several questions."
"Hancock said the atmosphere was “cordial.” In spite of all the moving teams, he said there was a lot of respect in the room, and that there wasn’t a need to address the elephant in the room. Said Jim Phillips didn’t give any update on possible ACC expansion."
"They did discuss a 5+7 model, and 12 best, but Hancock said, “They didn't really get too deep into it because they just don't know what the facts will be.”"
