Re: SMU still earning respect
Oklahoma moved up in the coaches poll. Sent from my KOREAN knockoff using Tapdance 5
Re: SMU still earning respectDid anyone hear Taylor McHargue the former Rice QB who was the color commentator on the ESPN broadcast and who appeared on 365 Sports yesterday? He raved about SMU. Said Stone was better than the OU quarterback and that we might run the table from here on out. He thinks that we are the Group of 5 team to watch and that if we were in the ACC this year we would be better than 5 or 6 current members. BTW this is why it is a good idea to schedule tough out of conference opponents. Our performance against OU raised more eyebrows in a loss than had we won a lopsided game against Sam Houston.
Re: SMU still earning respectI watched him at theamerican.org website in their AAC THIS WEEK broadcast. They are pretty entertaining. Check it out...
Re: SMU still earning respectRespect is bound to go up after we trounce Prairie View College.
Re: SMU still earning respectI doubt that 69-0 win will earn any respect. Only if/when this team beats TCU in Ft Worthless are people going to take notice. That 69-0 just puts SMU on more people's radar
Re: SMU still earning respectHow do we not get even one vote?
Re: SMU still earning respect
We have an opportunity to take TCU's votes next week
Re: SMU still earning respect
Because we beat a team that UNT beat and an FCS team
Re: SMU still earning respectThis latest CBS ranking has SMU & TCU moving much closer together which seems appropriate to me
