Updates from Rhett Lashlee on Justin Osborne, Collin Rogers

At his weekly radio show, SMU head coach gave an update (these are paraphrased) on a couple of players:
• Justin Osborne will be back soon. The Mustangs' senior guard — arguably the team's best offensive lineman — went down Saturday at Oklahoma when a player rolled into the back of his leg. Lashlee said that when it happened, he "thought it was bad" and that (Osborne) was "in some pain." After X-rays and MRIs, it looks like no surgery is needed, and Osborne hopefully will sit out just a week or two.
• Collin Rogers will remain the Mustangs' kicker. "He didn't miss under 50 yards last year, and now he has missed three this year. But we're going to keep running him out there. I told him he's going to hit (a field goal) from 50 yards on the right hash this year."
