SMU football head coach Rhett Lashlee met the media after the Mustangs opened their 2023 AAC season with a 34-16 win over Charlotte.
SMU defensive end Nelson Paul and running back Rooster Knighton met the media after the Mustangs knocked off Charlotte, 34-16, in the first American Athletic Conference game of the 2023 season.

I like that Coach sounds far from satisfied.
Glad we won, but there's a long way to go if we're going to hang with Tulane, etc., for the AAC title.
