New Tulsa HC is UNC alum Kevin Wilson, and the Associate HC who is at least the actual co-DC is UNC alum Ron Burton. I really like both those guys, from their playing days on. They both have been largely ignored by UNC because they played for [deleted] Crum, who preceded Mack Brown - and Crum was the last UNC coach to win the conference championship. Crum's final team was 5-6, including losses to 3 Top 10 teams, and then Mack took the program its all time worst: back top back 1-10 seasons. So glib tongue Mack then set about making certain everything to do with the Crum era was tarnished in memory. It became like 2nd nature to blame Crum for all UNC football failings, and Crum's players almost all still feel exiled from their school.
