They don't have a king and a queen anymore. They have multiple kings, queens, and ungendered Members of Court. The last homecoming game I went two, they announced two queens several Members of Court, and one king.

Always thought the whole "King & Queen" thing was kind of silly and always surprised me that so many really seem to enjoy it and clearly prioritized it over the actual game (evidenced by so many leaving after halftime). Also got a kick out of going to home games in the Cotton Bowl in September (back in my days at SMU) watching the girls in their Neiman Marcus wool fall fashion skirts and sweaters when it was still 90 degrees. Some traditions may never die I suppose...they just change with the times to keep as many people as possible interested.

Having said all that, I think we'll announce 23,650 and there will be more than 20,000 butts in seats until the Homecoming pomp & circumstance concludes. Probably about 12,000 will hang to watch this team whup up on Tulsa and hopefully get to see more from the 2nd teamers.

The Mustangs are 3-0 in AAC play, but, the interest & activity on the this site, just seems low.

Oh I understand, the activity on the On3 site is crazy, but, it's sad watching this site wither away.

hard to understand why a person would want to support and pay for a commercial enterprise in leiu of supporting a site that has provided us with information and the ability to communicate our ideas for many many years.

Love this site like an old friend, but you obviously are not on On3, or you would understand. The owner of that site is a former Mustang player and SMU alum.

It shouldn't be either or. Support both good info and discussions both places
