Stone Tabbed AAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week
DALLAS (SMU) - SMU quarterback Preston Stone was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week in a release by the American Athletic Conference (AAC) on Monday.
This was his third time this year earning the honor from the AAC.
Stone played a key role in a dominant 59-14 win at home against Navy on Nov. 25. The Dallas native threw for 332 yards and three touchdowns in the victory as the Mustangs closed out conference play 8-0 for the first time in program history.
No. 25 SMU heads off to New Orleans for a meeting with No. 17 Tulane in the AAC Championship this upcoming Saturday at 3 p.m. from Yulman Stadium. The game can be seen on ABC.
