Not sure how credible this is, but you’ve got to think this is lingering in the back of everyone’s minds down in New Orleans.

Re: Fritz to Houston following AAC championshipWhole lot of what ifs in the story. Great his players have questions and concerns going into this game. Imagine, Fritz takes the job, hauls off to Houston and takes a healthy number of his staff. TU is in the Cotton Bowl without any coaches. Think we all remember how that scenario played out for Pitt against SMU in Birmingham and SMU against LaTech in Frisco.

Re: Fritz to Houston following AAC championshipI wonder if Fritzy squeezing the lemon for more money might cause enough distraction and upset to get himself beat
![]() May the forth be with us.
Re: Fritz to Houston following AAC championshipIn his interview Fritz proclaimed "I will not be a distraction" so I suppose Tulane will not have that excuse if SMU does manage to beat them in New Orleans today
Re: Fritz to Houston following AAC championshipIF, and it's a big IF, Fritz is going to Houston the deal is already finalized. I don't understand why it would happen unless Tulane completely dropped the ball.
Re: Fritz to Houston following AAC championshipDave Campbell’s reporting that Willie is headed to Houston.
Re: Fritz to Houston following AAC championshipdone deal- announcement made.
Re: Fritz to Houston following AAC championshipAnnouncement from both schools — Tulane "has hired a search firm," yada yada yada.
Saw some Tulane fans clamoring for Ed Bergeron. Wow. PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.
