SMU lands transfer defensive tackleFormer Arkansas defensive tackle Taurean Carter, of Mansfield (Legacy HS), Texas, announced on social media he is transferring to SMU. Listed last year as a 6-3, 303-pound redshirt senior, Carter was credited with 25 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and a pair of QB hurries for the Razorbacks. He sat out the 2019 season as a redshirt and then missed 2022 because of a knee injury. In his career in Fayetteville, he had 60 tackles, including 6.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks, to go with a pair of passes defended.
