Just read on ESPN where he’s retiring. Wonder what his recruits will do.

this will also spur a wave of coaching changes depending on who Alabama goes for. Understand interest is for Lanning, Norvell, Sarkisian and Dabo. Hope for the ACC, it's not Dabo.

I think they should tap Sark, and then the Horns can go get Sonny.

Hope for the ACC, it's not Dabo. Dabo has failed to adjust to NIL and the portal. Unlikely Alabama is overly interested despite the 2 recent natty's. Lanning is reportedly interviewing for the position.

That would be hilarious. The same UT fans who badmouthed the Sark hire will be crying about why he didn't want to retire in Austin. Seems unlikely, but would be delicious.

Dabo has a pretty sweet deal at Clemson and is probably well aware of how tough it is to replace a legend. He's still young enough to let someone else come in and fail before considering finishing his career at Bama. He's been at Clemson long enough now that it is "home" for him and his family so it won't be easy to lure him away from that place

Pretty strong Kiffan rumors flying around...he has the ego for that job.

If Lanning goes to Oregon, maybe they'll want Sonny. At least he can beat Michigan.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

He only beat Michigan because the Wolverines were completely uninterested in that game until the 4th quarter. Play it again, with last year's rosters, and Michigan whips tcu.
Also, Lanning reportedly is staying at Oregon.

Sonny picked a bad year to collapse and underperform. There will be some nice openings that will not have the stomach for hiring that low class slob after this past season.

In fact, the grass is damn green in Eugene.”
