Ditto. This has irritated me to no end. Hope a reversion to the correct logo size is in the works.

I saw this post and thought of Lavine but the admin beat me to it

Hopefully it's the unis Hayden Fry brought back in 65 with the red helmet, blue jersey, and grey pants with the blue red blue stripe down the sides. Rich's sidekick on the radio, can't think of his name, said that's a great look for the Mustangs when they wore a similar uniform in 2014 with metallic red helmets. Traditional fire engine red helmets without the metallic please.

My guess would be the Bill Meek, Don Meredith, Garry Weber era uniform with the UCLA striped jerseys and the numbers on the side of the white helmet (although we did have a red helmet with numbers, also). Both the red jersey and the white jersey looked sharp. However, it was a losing era, record-wise. I vote for the salute to Garry Weber.

Stopped by the Fountain of Youth over the weekend...

"Crop tops for the running backs!" - is a reference to a womens-wear style. In football terms these were shimmel cut jerseys and the shimmel shirt under the shoulder pads. Football players did not wear "crop tops".

I never really liked the red helmets with the white mustang. It looked too similar to the Hogs helmets and if you watched one of those college all star games, you couldn't tell when your guys were on the field. The white helmets with red Mustang, white pants, blue jerseys were money.
