According to ESPN's Peter Thamel, the Big XII is looking to sell its naming rights to the highest bidder.

The possibilities are endless, as is the hilarity of it all...

The "Outback 16"? Big 12 presented by Roundup?

Apparently they're seriously considering the "Allstate 12" -- maybe even with a straight face.

This is one of those ideas that sounds dumb on its face, and I'm tempted to make a snide comment. But I'm going to hold off because it just might work.

Say what you will about the Big XII, but their commish has proven to be a pretty savvy operator after losing their two bell cow programs.

Make that 4 major programs. (Nebraska, A$M, UO and TU).

See DIY thread below. Some great ideas there. Will they have standards or just sell to the highest bidder?
