While listening to College Sports on SiriusXM this past Friday morning, Richard Neuheisel shared he attended an SMU event at Bel-Air Country Club in LA the day before. In attendance was our David Miller, Andy Enfield, and Rhett Lashlee.

It was so enjoyable to hear him speak positively about David and SMU's recent and impressive actions, including the hiring of Andy and Miller's personal and financial efforts to promote SMU to all the current ACC schools, which resulted in our invitation to the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Rick N.'s reaction to his personal conversations with our leadership was upbeat and filled with respect.

I haven't seen any SMU Social Media report on the LA event last week. Showing the SMU flag in Southern California, at a venue like the Bel-Air Country Club, feels like a big deal to me. I suspect Andy Enfield, David Miller, and Rhett value greater media coverage in California, including LA, for recruiting purposes.

I want to hire David Miller for SMU AD. When he talks people listen.
