DB Bryan Massey (transferred to Houston)
CB Bryce McMorris
LB JaQwondis Burns
DE Je'lin Samuels
TE Nolan Matthews-Harris
WR-CB Teddy Knox
CB Keyshon Mills
DE Jayden Jones
OT Sean Scott
TE Lonnie Johnson
DT-OL Braylen Jackson
DT Daemian Wimberly (transferred to UTSA)
Massey - never fully recovered from injury and the S room is just so deep he wasn't going to see much time.
McMorris - Injury casualty
Burns - I wish he came back because he was good on special teams. But he was going to fall to 3rd team LB so I get it.
Samuels - I LOVE the potential and the frame. But he could never quite make it happen, couldn't stay healthy, and in and out of the doghouse. Might do well somewhere with a change of scenery, but I think he was going to be 3rd string here this season.
Harris - the TE room was deep, he wasn't going to see any time.
Knox - Maybe the biggest miss on the list. I thought he showed a lot of promise at CB, but couldn't overcome the off field stuff. I hope he gets a shot at corner somewhere.
Mills - never popped.
Jayden Jones - solid player, but I think he was going to fight for a 3rd string spot with Samuels.
Sean Scott - promising tackle, wish he wouldn't have left. 3rd string this season.
Lonnie Johnson - I think he is going to be good. We are just so, so, so deep at TE. I don't blame him at all for leaving.
Braylen Jackson - I think he is a G5 player.
Wimberly - potential. I think he will be a very good G5 player at UTSA.
Knox at corner is really the only guy I think would have had an impact this season.
