Battered pony syndromeIs so [deleted] real….i am 65 years old - why should I expect anything different!!? First of all, Crosseley’s a thug, always has been - he sucks. Does db #13 have a backup???!? And Stone - said it before, sat it agains - he’s not the guy.
Re: Battered pony syndromeHe is the guy. Had a rough start. I was kid when Eric Dickerson and Craig James were running wild at Texas Stadium. I remember how the size of the SMU players dwarfed most of their opponents back in that day when I was young and it made a lasting impression on me back then. Last year I went to an SMU game and for the first time in over 40 years of attending SMU games, I got that feeling again and realized SMU was back at that level. Stick with him and this team because I am telling you, SMU is back and we are heading for top 20 finishes perennially again.

Re: Battered pony syndromeSadly, I remember when SMU played this bad and it ended in humiliating blowouts.; Yes, we sucked for most of the game. Nevada made one mistake and we capitalized on it. SMU made dozens of mistakes and stayed in the game.
I do believe this will be either a wake up call or a disaster. It depends on the coaches and the players. All that said, we won. 1-0 and ahead of Florida State in the ACC standings. On paper, we look good.
