Agreed. They had to dig deep tonight against an inferior team. Sort of wondering if we saw that -27 and got overconfident. I’m not ready to jump ship just yet.

Obviously, there were glaring mistakes (as one might expect) in the first game. However, SMU made much more than Nevada did. Plus, the players were expecting an easy game - just like us fans did. I expect those mistakes to be quickly worked out. However, I do have other concerns.

That game reminded me of a golf outing a few weeks ago. My friend's tee shots never got more than a couple of feet of the ground, but he hit them a mile. He was angry, and I kept encouraging him... until I realized he beat me and I owed him drinks.

Let’s hope this is the low point of the season in terms of play. Great effort coming back and averting disaster but we clearly let Nevada get under our skin. Hudson slapping the guy in the head in the first half seemed to set the tone for the entire game, gotta have more composure than that.
