I feel like this may have been discussed here before, so apologies if I'm replowing the same ground. Has there been any talk about altering Notre Dame's future ACC schedule in light of the new members joining the conf? Or do they have to play out whatever is already on the books before we can hope for a scheduled matchup against Notre Dame?

I've never seen a clear answer, which I think means they have to play out what is already scheduled. And, their ACC games are already scheduled out through 2037, which is the last season under the current GOR.

Yeah, I saw they were scheduled way out. Bummer. I guess I can put the seeing SMU beat Notre Dame at Ford dream on ice for at least another decade plus.

Still waiting to settle a score from 1989.

I will say one of the highlights of my sports fan life was watching my UConn Huskies football team beat Notre Dame in person, out in South Bend in double OT back in 2009. If SMU gets to play in South Bend I would love to make another trip!

I certainly enjoyed watching us beat them in the Aloha Bowl in 1984.

Don King was our QB in that Aloha Bowl win.
