SMU moves to No. 20 in both polls

Mustangs Move Up To 20th In Polls
DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Football checked in at 20th in both major polls on Sunday after a thrilling 28-27 overtime victory at Duke this past Saturday.
SMU moved up two spots in both the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and the US LBM Coaches Poll. The Mustangs were one of four ACC teams to be included in both polls, joining Miami, Clemson and Pittsburgh.
This marks the fourth straight week SMU has appeared in both polls.
The Mustangs remained unbeaten in ACC play after the hard-fought road win against the Blue Devils. The clutch victory was the ninth straight win on the road, tying Texas for the longest active streak in the FBS.
SMU returns home for a showdown against No. 18 Pittsburgh on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT in Gerald J. Ford Stadium. The game can be seen on ACC Network.
