Such a strange mix of reality and delusion. I particularly like the comment that SMU hasn't "beaten anybody," as if a ranked team we beat on the road didn't stomp them in Death Valley.

Anything negative about SMU or the ACC can be chalked up to frustration. You are talking about a team that thinks they are too good for their conference, and even filed a lawsuit based on that notion, but currently has no chance of winning said "weak conference". That's hard pill for fans to swallow. It doesn't make logical sense, but that's what frustration can do.

My favorite was the one that said the ACC was so weak that SMU could come in and win it year one.. but they failed to win it, as if that’s a knock on the ACC and not a badge of merit for SMU, like they didn’t lose to Louisville

they should be ecstatic that 1 of the 3 teams they brought into the ACC is this good and not a doormat.

Except they specifically cited SMU in its lawsuit as a weak addition. Part of me wants Miami to lose a game so we can face Clemson and upset them.

Th guy who has season tkts next to me went to South Carolina & he hates Clemson & hopes we play them.
