I guess I'm OK with the coaches poll (sorry, AP — no way we should behind Boise State).

Next week, if we're looking for help from others ranked ahead of us, while we're playing Virginia:

Tennessee hosts UTEP (why?)
Miami hosts Wake Forest
Ole Miss is at Florida
Georgia hosts ... UMass????
Alabama is at Oklahoma
Notre Dame plays Army at Yankee Stadium
Indiana is at Ohio State ... but I don't know if a loss in Columbus will knock IU down enough to help us.

A lot of SEC schools started scheduling cupcake games the week before their annual rivalry games. When allowed, Clemson started doing the same thing to avoid South Carolina gaining that advantage and they have FCS Citadel coming to Death Valley next weekend while SC hosts FCS Wofford.
