To be up by 4 full 7 point scores. That way Virginia would need 4 TDs plus a 2 point conversion to win. I am sure the analytics chart said it was the thing to do

Also, it worked! The officials just didn't call it right. Man we got screwed by the refs yesterday: 2pt conversion called short, targeting reversal, great catch by Moochie that was called incomplete.

Amen to the lousy refs! How was that not targeting!!???!!

I wondered about that last TD too. I was sitting with some UVA folks and they were ticked off about that. What was the betting line? Was there a point spread issue?

Style points are everything with committee members who only check scores (if that).

28 looks like 4 TDs.

Adding a late TD creates a bigger margin of victory, lessening CLOSE games.

It's all optics and everyone must play.
